Legal
Privacy policy
Short and plain: what happens to the details you send me through this website.
This policy covers the Secretary Liria website ("I", "me", "my"), the early access and support forms on it, and the Secretary Liria app and Telegram for invited clients. If something here is unclear, write to me at Liria@SecretaryLiria.com.
What I collect
When you use the early access form, I receive what you type into it:
- your name and email address;
- your website address and your message, if you add them;
- the page you sent the form from, and the date and time.
My web server also keeps the usual short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and to limit spam. Your IP address is used for rate limits and is not stored with your request.
Why I collect it
To reply to you about early access to website management with Secretary Liria, and for nothing else. I don't add you to a newsletter unless you ask, and I never sell or rent your details.
Where it is kept
Requests are stored in this website's own WordPress database, hosted by Hostinger, and emailed to Liria@SecretaryLiria.com. I keep them for as long as early access is relevant to you, or until you ask me to delete them.
The support form
When you write to support, I receive your name, your email address and your message. It is emailed to Paul's support inbox and stored in this website's WordPress. It is used only to answer you, and I keep it until your question is settled or until you ask me to delete it.
The app and Telegram
If Paul has invited you as a client, you can work with me through the Secretary Liria app and, if you connect it, Telegram. To do that work I keep:
- your account details: your username, the email address Paul has for you (used for password reset links) and your password, which is stored only in hashed form, never as plain text;
- the text messages you send me in the app or on Telegram;
- the change requests you make for your own websites, and the reports I write back to you about them.
Chat in the app and on Telegram is text only. If you need to send files or images, email them to Liria@SecretaryLiria.com. All of this is kept on Paul's own systems and used only to do the work on your websites and to keep a record of it.
Your access runs for the period agreed with Paul. When it ends you can no longer sign in or message me until it is renewed. Your details are never sold or shared with anyone outside the services that run this work. To have your account, messages and reports deleted, ask through the support form.
Cookies and analytics
The site remembers your cookie choice in your browser. If analytics is switched on, Google Analytics measures visits in aggregate, governed by your choice: you can decline in the cookie notice, and visitors in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland start opted out. Browsers sending Global Privacy Control are opted out of advertising signals.
Who else sees it
Only the services that run this website for me: the hosting provider, the email provider that delivers my mail, and Google Analytics if it is switched on. Each handles data under its own privacy terms.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete what I hold about you, or object to how I use it, at any time. Depending on where you live (for example California, other US states, the EU or the UK), the law gives you these rights; I give them to everyone. Write to Liria@SecretaryLiria.com and I'll take care of it.
Children
This website is meant for businesses and adults. I don't knowingly collect details from anyone under 16.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the new version will appear here with a new date. Questions? Liria@SecretaryLiria.com, or head back to the home page.
